Operation and Precautions

Special remarking:Only completely right connect lead-acid battery with battery charger, battery charger can start working normally

1. Some examination before the energized: After long time storage and transportation, the battery charger should be checked completely against any damage, such as the screw is loose or not, the appearance of case, power wire, connector, etc., if these phenomena occurred, they should be promptly and properly handled before operation with live electricity.

2. Cut off “power switch” and connect input wire.

3. Wiring: under "power switch" situation, Connect lead-acid battery and battery charger with the front panel access (wire cross-section area should not be less than 12mm2 or based on the actual current choice), confirm the connection is correct, and specially make sure the connector is connected firmly to avoid large current flows make too heat to damage the lead-acid and battery charger.

4. Choose charging current:Generally the charging current is based on charging time 10 hours, that is: charging current(A)=rated battery volume(Ah) ÷10(h), e.g.200Ah battery, charging current(A)=200Ah÷10h=20A,then adjust the charging current to 23A,if need charge battery in a shorter time, the charging current can be enlarged to some extent

5. Put on “power switch”, the charging start.

6. Charger cooling fan is for the smart thermostat, when the internal temperature exceeds the thermostat switch start point, the cooling fan will start automatically, make sure do not block inlet and outlet of cooling fan.

7. When the internal temperature is too high and reach thermal shutdown temperature threshold, the charger will automatically stop working and make sure not to be damaged; when the temperature dropped slightly to start working automatically

8.If the over-discharge of the battery make the battery voltage is too low, use a larger charging current to charge the battery: If a connected battery leads to the charger exit start , the operation of this connection can be repeated several times to activate the battery which is over-discharged.

9.When fault happen: if find the battery charger is not working properly then cut off "Power Switch" promptly and cut off the input wire, carefully check whether the charger and battery is connected properly, whether the terminal nut loose, various switches, knobs position are correct, if the user is difficult to deal with problems, Never attempt to open the cabinet. Because a high-voltage inside the machine, the user who are not familiar with the expertise to repair machine by themselves do not open the cabinet, you should promptly contact service with our company or dealer.

10.Special Note: Only properly connect the battery and charger, the charger begin to work! Note that you should put more attention to the battery positive and negative polarity, wrong polarity indicator does not turn off power, you can not put on “power switch”.
