Nickel alloy inconel 600 steel bar is resistant to corrosion by many organic and inorganic compounds and also makes it virtually immune to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking.
Nickel alloy inconel 600 steel bar is used extensively in the chemical industry for its strength and corrosion resistance. Applications include heaters, stills, bubble towers, and condensers for processing of fatting acids and so on.
Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at high temperatures and resistance to chloride ion stress-corrosion cracking, corrosion by high-purity water, and caustic corrosion. Used for furnace components, in chemical and food processing, in nuclear engineering, and for sparking electrodes.
