Green silicon carbide is a kind of crystal material, formed by the process of electric resistance furnace smelting with the raw material of quartz sand, petroleum coke and wood chips. With high hardness and good thermal conductivity, silicon carbide is a kind of semiconductor and can resist the oxidation at high temperature.
Application:
1.It can be applied for grinding hard, brittle and non-mentallic material such as cemented carbides, optical glass etc.
2.It can be used as abrasive tools,such as grinding wheel, oilstone etc.
3.As metallurgical deoxidizer and high temperature resistance materials.
4.The advanced refractory material made from it, has thermal shock resistance,small volum,light weight,high strength and good energy saving effect.
