Three Phases Connection Surge Arrester

Three-phase Connection Type Lightning Arrester is a new type arrester to protect electrical appliance from the damage of overvoltage. Its characteristic is that it limits the overvoltage between phase and earth. At the same time, it effectively limits overvoltage between phases. Common lightning arrester can’t do this.

It’s widely used to protect vacuum switch, rotary motor, parallel capacitor, power plant and substation and etc.

1. Sea level elevation: not more than 2000m
2. Ambient temperature: -40°C~+40°C
3. Power frequency: 48HZ~62HZ
4. Long term power frequency voltage is not more than the minimum operating voltage.
5. Maximum wind speed is less than 35m/s.
6. Earthquake intensity level is 7 or below 7.

Using Selection:

Three-phase Connection type Surge arrester divides into two types: gapless type & parallel series clearance/gaps. The difference is that as long as there is overvoltage in the system, gapless type surge arrester can effectively absorb and limit it; while for the parallel series clearance surge arrester, only when the overvoltage of the system is big enough to make discharge, it acts.
