Our chemical absorbent booms are perfect for construction sites and industrial facilities to have on 

hand for containment of large volume spills.  These chemical booms are constructed with a strong mesh 

outer skin encasing a highly sorbent polypropylene filler. 

 

A nylon rope and steel hardware ensure longlasting durability and easy retrieval.  Connectors provide 

an efficient way to link booms together to handle almost any spill on land. These chemical booms are a safety

 yellow in color for quick identification in case of an emergency spill. The reason these booms are very popular on

 construction sites is they are easy to deploy and you only have to use the number of booms needed to fit the size

 of the spill because of the way they easily connect together.

 

These chemical booms are able to absorb and contain almost any liquid. Ideal for when you do not know what the 

liquid is. It is suitable for most acids and aggressive fluids such as hydrofluoric, hydrochloric, phosphoric, nitric and 

sulfuric acids. Also use with hydrocarbons such as oils, diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, hydraulic oil, vegetable oil and 

kerosene. Because the booms will also absorb all water based fluids; they will not float on water. For spill 

containment on water you need our oil absorbent booms or our non-absorbing booms.
