Flexible coupling and stepped coupling,

1) Vortex manufactures many different types of ductile iron step couplings for many kind pipes(PVC/UPVC,AC,Steel etc)

We supply step couplings for all over the world and product surface shall be smooth and free from sand holes, blow holes, distortion or any other defects.

2) The couplings are wide tolerance product and fit all popular standard pipe sizes, thus dramatically reducing the number of product to be stocked for maintenance purposes.

3) The couplings are suitable for steel, PVC, ductile iron, asbestos cement, GRP, cast iron and concrete pipes. Step Couplings are designed and manufactured to fit on pipes of varying nominal bore where the pipes to be connected on either side excludes the use of the Unifit range.

 

Material of Construction
1) End Rings - Ductile Iron to BS2789 Grade 420/12 , 500/7
2) Sleeves - Ductile Iron to BS2789 Grade 420/12 ,500/7 or Steel to SABS 1431 Grade 300WA
3) Coating - Fusion Bonded Epoxy to SABS 1217 , minimum thickness 250 microns, colors in  RAL5005, RAL5015 , RAL3009 , RAL9005, RAL9011 or others .
4) Bolts - Steel to BS970 Grade 070M20 , Carbon steel Grade 8.8, SS304 or SS316

Rubber Seal - E.P.D.M. Grade E to BS2494 1990 Type W&D
