Lifting Hook is the most common lifting tool in the hoisting machinery.
The hook hung on the hoisting mechanism wire rope by pulley block parts etc.
According to the shape of the lifting hook is divided into single and double hook;
By the way of making into forging hook and laminated hook.
Single hook has the advantages of simple manufacture, convenient use, but the stress condition is not good, mostly in the weight for the workplace 80 tons; big lifting weight often use force symmetrical double hook. Laminated hook which is composed of a plurality of cutting steel plate riveted together, the hook will not damage if the individual plate cracked, security is better, but the large self weight, mostly used in large capacity or the lifting of the molten steel ladle crane. The hook is often affected by the impact during the process of working, most adopts high quality carbon steel of good toughness to manufacture.
