Description

Water turbine inlet hydraulic operated ball valve is often used in inlet of hydropower station or pumped storage power station,where water head is higher than 250meters..The full set of valve is consisted of uppers stream and downstream connection pipes,ball valve,expansion joints.,by-pass pipe,air release valves etc.The design meets standard GB/T14478/1993.

The functions Are:

 

1 When one main water pipe delivers water to several water turbines,and if one of the turbines needs to repair or maintenance, Water turbine inlet hydraulic operated ball valve can shut off the water to the turbines that needs to repair or maintenance,but don’t interrupt the other turbines works regularly.

 

2 When turbine speed governing system accidents happen,the turbine rotating speeds raise up to the setting value, Water turbine inlet hydraulic operated ball valve can emergency shut off the flow immediately,to prevent accidents from deteriorating.

 

3 when the turbines sets in downtime states for long terms, this valve can cut off water from upperstream,so it can reduce guide vane leaking,avoid the turbine wriggling.

1 This valve is applicable for wide range of water head,the maximum water head can reach 1000meters

2 When the valve is fully open,the flow way is full bore linear flow shape,water pressure loss is very low,and when it works,no cavitation,no damage to the valve.

 

3 The valve is tightly sealed when close ,it is free leakage.

 

4 This valve is designed to have two sealing modes,working sealing and Repair sealing.When start repair sealing mode,working sealing and shaft end sealing can be repaired,and don’t have to drain off the water in the pipe before the valves.and when start repair sealing mode,there are hydraulic locking and manual locking,it is double-insurance to guarantee 100% safety. And it doesn’t require another one service valve in this system when install this Water turbine inlet hydraulic operated ball valve,so it can save project cost.

 

5 The hydraulic operated system employs Energy storing tanks to store energy technology,when accident happens and results power is cut off,the valve can shut off automatically and guarantee the water turbines system safe.

 

6 it is self-adjusting shaft sealing,and lead free oil self lubrication bearing,the seal box and shaft end support are designed as assembly parts,and they are installed outside the pipe,it is convenient for disassemble and repair.

7 The electropneumatic controller system is PLC programmable controller.It can simplify the electric circuits, and can design different programs for different working situation and requirements,applicable for many situations,at the same time,PLC can diagnose the valve  itself,and convenient to connect to computers at controlling room.

1 Open

Open By-pass Valve----remove hydraulic pressure lock----remove working sealing,fully open mian valve core—close by-pass valve

2 Close

Completely close main valve core—start working sealing---start hydraulic pressure lock
