This type of  resistance tube band is designed to out last regular tube bands that are not covered or protected from hardcore use. Because of the design, these bands also have a mechanical stop which means that they are very durable and hard to break. The latex tubes are also protected from nicks and cuts which cause typical bands to fail very fast.
