1. Overview

KB3072 ZTU (Zigbee Data Terminal Unit) is enhanced Zigbee module that using high-reliability 8051 CPU core and IEEE 802.15.4 compatible wireless transceiver. Compared with similar products, it transmission distance farther, anti-jamming capability stronger and more flexible networking.

2. Product Features

   package when data transmission, can achieve pictures over than 100K and Flash animation files  

   transmission, no Mosaic happened.

•  Powerful, supporting three node types: Coodinator, the Router and terminal.

•  Support three transmission modes: broadcast, master-slave, point-to-point;

•  Support variety of Auto networking: point-to-point, multipoint-to-point, point-to-multipoint, multipoint-to-

   multipoint; combined with our other product, you can set up a large cross-regional system network;

•  Plug and play function: After parameters configured and electricity turned on, the ad-hoc network is built.

   communication between control centre and devices is successfully realized through docking serial port;

•  Low power consumption: just two AA batteries can be driven;

•  Remote modify ZTU parameters: Support remote modify the parameters, after the product install, if you

   need to adjust the parameters, simply use software control terminal remote configuration the parameters;

•  Support the serial port baud rate: 1200 bps to 115200 bps, support 7, 8 data bits, one stop bit, odd parity,even parity, no parity;

•  Working temperature range: -40°C-80°C, communication is not effected at -40°C.

4. Product Application

Due to Zigbee transmission as a short distance data transmission, if user's terminal equipment is scattered, how to utilize KB3072 organize a large SCADA across the region? Here we simply introduce another item KB3030, it can transmit COM data to a remote server of internet by using cellular network, based on this advantage, if connect the Zigbee Coodinator COM port to KB3030, then the internet data of Zigbee can be transmitted to internet, meanwhile, internet data can be downloaded to Zigbee network via network package.
