Xylitol Moisture Wicking nylon spandex silk satin lycra fabric
1. About xylitol
Xylitol is a kind of sugar alcohol, widely found in nature and has been used
as a natural sweetener.
Just like xylitol gum, candy or toothpaste, it reacts endothermically
when it combined with moisture.
2. Cooling sensation
We have applied xylitol to our fabrics, they shows endothermic reaction
when the fabrics absorb sweat or moisture from your body.
That is, the fabrics can give cooling sensation to your skin.
3. Cooling effects refreshed
Once the moisture disappear by drying or evaporation,
the endothermic function will be refreshed.
So, the effects will have been lasting while you are wearing the finished product.
4. Cooling effects have fastness to washing
Since nanoparticles penetrate deep into fiber tissues, the effects have
fastness to washing.
Performance Evaluation
We measured temperatures of a sample's surface with a thermography.
Method
A subject placed his hand on the sample for 3 minutes.
Then we measured each temperature of it right after putting off, a minute later
and 2 minutes later.
Besides, we measured each change in temperatures of the sample
each after 10, 20 and 30 times washing.
Results
Compared to unfinished fabric, the handprint on our fabric disappeared faster
than unfinished.
It means that our fabric can control your body temperature, absorbing sweat and moisture.
And, the effects have been lasting even after 30 washes.
5. No effects on materials
Our finishes will have no effects on materials.
6. Harmless
All our chemicals are formalin free, so we also recommend our fabrics
for a baby or sensitive skin use.
