0.6/1KV copper core XLPE insulated,steel wire armored,xlpe sheathed electrical power cable
1.Conductor:
Soft annealed stranded copper wires to BS 6360, class 2, concentrically stranded in successive layers, in
opposite direction, to form the stranded conductor.
2.Insulation:
The conductors are insulated with a layer of extruded XLPE compound.
3.Filling:
The assembled cable is filled with a layer of PVC compound in order to fill the interstices between the
cores and render the cable round.
4.Armoring:
Consists of single layer of galvanized steel wires of appropriate size.
5.Sheathing:
An outer protection of extruded PVC compound is applied over the armor.
6.Application: For outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet locations, laid direct in the ground where
excessivemechanical stresses are present in sloping and moving terrains and in vertical or inclined laying, as well as in locations susceptible to sliding.
Remark: the cable can be of flame retardance, fire resistance and other property
