 1.When can I pick up my Gather sport board after purchase?

2.Is the Gather sport board so heavy on your feet that you cannot float properly or maneuver while in the water? 

The Gather sport board DOES float. The Gather sport board weighs approximately 65 lbs but easily floats in the water. After some time, you will feel as if the Gather sport board has become an extension of yourself.

3.Does the Gather sport board come with a propulsion unit? 

No, the Gather sport board does not come with a propulsion unit. The Gather sport board is an accessory to a PWC. 

4.How old do you have to be to fly the sport board? 

The minimum age for the Gather sport board at this time is 18 years old.

5.What is the Electronic Management Kit? Is the kit included? 

The Electronic Management Kit or EMK is a unit attached to the right hand nozzle. It is a trigger style throttle mechanism that is attached to the PWC and allows the Gather sport board user to fully control the RPM on the personal watercraft. With a simple push of a button the EMK can be turned on and off and then be used as a two person system and the Gather sport board can be controlled by the Instructor or Operator on the PWC to control RPM. The EMK is not included.

6.Does it danger the aquatic environment? 

No, the Gather sport board does not harm the aquatic environment in any way when being used by a responsible rider.

7.Will the Gather sport board push you underwater when you fall? 

No, if you are on the Gather sport board to observe safety and to turn off the thrust to the Gather sport board as soon as the Gather sport board user enters the water. You will float right to the surface. 

8.What type of watercraft or PWC (Personal Watercraft) is recommended for the best results? 

There is no certain brand or model that is recommended. The adapter plate that allows you to connect the Gather sport board to your own PWC will fit all major brands and models. As long as your PWC is more than 100HP then you’re ready to Gather sport board! Better 130HP to 220HP 

9.How deep does the water need to be to Gather sport board? 

It is required that there be a minimum depth of 8 feet of water when flying at or below 15 feet, and a minimum depth of 12 feet of water when flying at heights of 15 feet and above.  

10.Will the Gather sport board work in saltwater? 

Yes! the Gather sport board works in both salt and fresh water. When being used in salt water, just be sure to rinse off the entire the Gather sport board after every use with fresh water.
