Difference of ss304 and ss316 

First s.s.316 and s.s.304 looks same from appearance. But, ss 316 has more nickel content than ss 304, which improves its corrosion resistance, especially ss 316 is more resistance to pitting corrosion by chloride ion. Generally, ss316 is used for outdoor of sea side building. If it is for other places, s.s.304 is good enough.
