Alloy 2011 Aluminum  bar

 

2011 hard aluminum alloy is mainly suitable for drawing tube, cold working bar and cold workinging wires, mainly used for screw and requirements with good cutting performance of mechanical processing products. The tempers of the alloy are T3, T4 and T8;

 

 

 

T3: after solution heat treatment for cold working, then through natural aging to basic stable state; Applicable to solid solution heat treatment after cold straightening, flatten in order to improve the strength of products.

 

 

 

T4: natural aging after solution heat treatment to the stable state; Undertake no longer applies to is after heat treatment, cold working (can be straightened, leveling, but does not affect the mechanical properties of the limit) products.

 

 

 

T8: after solution heat treatment after cold working, and then on the condition of artificial aging; Applies to the cold working or straightening, leveling in order to improve the strength of the product.
