Applications and Features

♦ stress jack is a kind of general-purpose feed-through jack for prestress applied for tension of various steel strand anchors.

♦ stress jack is widely used in post-tensioned large buildings and structures, prestressed concrete bridges, rock and earth anchoring construction, hydraulic structures, foundation anchoring construction and other great projects.

♦ Main parts of stress jack is made of high-strengthened steel and it features in compact structure, small weight and small size, short axial length and short length of preserved stretching steel strand, which can saving many steel strand materials.

♦ This stress jack also easy to hoist, durable in use, easy to operate and convenient to maintain.

Technical Performance

♦ stress jack is divided into many models, such as 100 ton, 150 ton, 200 ton, 250 ton, 300 ton and to 650 ton. Their strokes are all 200mm. Technical performance shows in table 1.

♦ Tool anchorage and restraining plate accessories will be used with stress jack when tension.

Method of Application

1. Working anchor, jack and tool anchor shall be installed according to Fig. 2 before tensioning.

2. Feed oil to Circuit A (tensioning cylinder) of jack for tensioning. Adjust throttle valve of oil pump to control oil pressure and tensioning speed.

3. Clips of tool anchor will automatically clamp the strand when the piston stretches out. Clips of working anchor are retained by restraining plate and are taken out slightly and will not leave the working anchor.
