Expanded metal mesh is also called pulled plate wire mesh. A rigid piece of metal that has been slit and drawn into an open mesh pattern in a single operation. It is stronger, lighter in weight and more rigid than the original base metal.

Expanded metal mesh material are carbon steel plate, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, aluminum foil, lead, nickel plate, titanium, aluminum-magnesium alloy panels. Conventional mesh is formed in a diamond pattern. It has other pattern of hexagonal, round, triangle, scale-like opening.

Stainless Steel Expanded metal mesh

The standard range of Stainless Steel Expanded metal mesh are predominantly produced from Grade 1.4301 (304S15). Other grades can be supplied. The most popular alternative grades are 1.4401 (316S31), 1.4016 (430S17), 1.4541 (321S31) and 1.4845 (310S24). All material is fully annealed prior to the expanding process but further annealing and descaling can be applied after the manufacture of the product. This will aid the levellness and the ductility of the product.

Brass Or Copper Expanded metal mesh

Copper：
High electrical conductivity, high thermal conductivity, corrosion resistant, malleable.

Brass：
Good mechanical strength corrosion resistance and malleable.

Aluminium Expanded metal mesh

All of the standard range of  Aluminium mesh are produced from the commercially pure Grade 1050 which is 99.5%

pure aluminium. These meshes can be anodised to a

standard range of colours, Natural, Gold and Black. Other

colours can be supplied on request. Other coatings such as painting and plastic coating can also be offered. Other

material grades and mesh specifications can be produced.
