SHR refer to Super Hair Removal,it’s a revolutionary technology of hair removal, which is having a sweeping success.  SHR (adopt technology AFT,EDF) combines laser technology and the benefits of the pulsating light method achieving practically painless results. SHR combined with "In Motion"represents a breakthrough in permanent hair removal with light technology. SHR gently transports the energy through the skin and through the melanin to the hair follicles. Research has shown that a slower, but longer heating process is considerably more effective for permanent hair removal than high and short levels of energy. Therefore, when using SHR, the device is passed over the tissue multiple times (in motion) using low energy but a high rate of repetition (up to 10Hz, i.e. 10 times per second) instead of using the traditional method with single, high-energy impulses. 1. How does SHR work?

It is a revolutionary approach, rather that bombarding your skin with high amounts of damaging energy. SHR fires multiple shots but at low Joules, in doing so it gently heats the hair follicle to the heat needed and the most you will feel is warmth and a tingling sensation, some clients comparing it to a warm massage. SHR also utilizes In-Motion technology, where the hand piece is always in motion over the skin.

2. What is the first step before treatment?
The first step before any treatment is a consultation, at the consultation we gather medical & other relevant information to ensure you not only receive a safe treatment, but also have all the information needed. 3. Is SHR suitable for all skin types?
SHR is suitable for all skin types, even tanners, this is achievable because of the technology and techniques utilized. Unlike traditional Laser and IPL, SHR can be had all year round without having to hide from the sun.

4. Will SHR work on blonde, red or fine hair?
Like all hair removal, hairs that are dark work the best, however with SHR there is generally a better result of up to 50% on blonde, red and fine hairs and in some cases more. As we are all unique results will vary from person to person.

5. How many treatments are needed?
To fully treat the area you may require 3-6 treatments at four week intervals. A four week regime is important to maintain so that the SHR treatments get the hair at its four week re-growth. Near the end of the treatments 6-8 week intervals will be needed to finish off your course.

6. Is there any pain?
It is absolutely pain free, this is achieved by SHR technology and In-Motion techniques, to give you a pain free treatment, including in the most sensitive areas.

7. Is this permanent?
SHR is the closest treatment to absolute permanent hair removal. Unfortunately your body can produce hormones that can simulate further hair growth with some people. After your course of treatments you will have at least 80%-90% of hair gone, with only touch up treatments needed 1-2 times a year.

8. Am I a suitable candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
With the new SHR, almost everyone can enjoy the benefits of laser hair removal, however, the overall effectiveness of laser hair removal is dependent on a combination of your hair and skin colour. Since the beam of light is attracted to the pigment in your hair and your skin, the laser beam will not be able to treat grey or white hair, as there is not sufficient pigment in these hair folical. 9. Are all areas treatable?
Any area of the body where you have unwanted hair may be treated. For your convenience we have packaged together our most popular areas together to make them even more affordable.

1o. Why do I need multiple treatments?
Each of your hair follicles individually goes through different growth phases at different times. Since the laser’s beam is attracted to the pigment in your hair, laser hair removal only works when your hair is in the “active” growth phase. Any follicle that does not contain hair (whether it’s from waxing, plucking, or simply because the hair is currently in a different growth phase) will not be destroyed. To make sure that full results are achieved, several treatments are required in order to give your hair follicles time to cycle through all the growth phases.
