1.Quality specification:
Appearance : light yellow free-flowing powder
Moisture content ( @105℃,2hrs ) : ≤3.5%
Granularity (<76μm or 200mesh) : ≥95%
Viscosity (7% xylene gel, 25℃) : ≥3.0 Pa•S
Loss on ignition ( 850-900 ℃) : ≤40%
2. Characteristics and Application:
Strong thickening ability, good compatibility, need polar activator. Applicable to
low and middle polar solvent systems.
Used in paints, printing inks, sealants, lubricating greases, paint filers, atomic
ash,mixed paints, etc.
3. The key factors of using bentonite
Drillingbentonite: Bentonite is the main material of the preparation of slurry. It has the effection of protecting sidewall, upward returing cuttings, cooling and lubricating the bits. |
| Foundry bentonite: Bentonite is used in agglomerant and lithium bentonite is used in quick-drying coating. |
| Iron core pelletizing bentonite: It can improve the production capacity by adding 1-2% sodium bentonite in the refined iron-mineral powders. It is widely used in steel mills. |
Coating bentonite:Bentonite is used as suspending agent in various coating. It can improve the suspension, adhesion, brushing property and water resistance of the coating. |
Animal feed bentonite: Bentonite can be used as additives of animal feed because it contains a lot of microelements such as Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn and it’s non-toxic and fine powder. |
| Fertilizer bentonite: It can improve the fertilizer effection and improve the soil. |
| Building bentonite: Bentonite has good effection of anti-leakage in construction. |
| Rubber bentonite: Bentonite has better swelling rate,high water absorption.
