1. INTENDED USE

The N.K.Biotech Chloramphenicol Rapid Test Kit is a rapid test to qualitatively (or quantitatively) detect Chloramphenicol residue in meat tissues(chick, pork, beef….and so on) at the sensitivity of 0.1μg/kg (0.1ppb). The total assay time takes 25 min.

2. TEST PROCEDURE

1. Remove Chloramphenicol Residue Rapid Test Kits from sealed pouch.

2. Suck at least 3 drops of prepared sample, hold the dropper vertically and transfer 3 full drops of solution to the specimen well (S) of the test, and then start the timer. (See the illustration below.)

3. Wait for red bands to appear. The result should be read in approximately 3-5 minutes. Do not interpret results after 5 minutes.

4. STORAGE AND STABILITY

Store at room temperature. The shelf life is 12 months.

5. SPECIFICITY

It is negative when test standard of Thiamphenicol at 100 ng/mL and standard of Florfenicol at 300ng/mL.

No cross-reaction with Tetracyclines, Sulfonamides or Streptomycin.
