Suspended Overband Magnetic Separator For Conveyor Belt

Introduction:

Series Overband magnetic separator/Cross belt magnetic separator is made up of permanent magnets, iron-cleaning belt, drive motor, reducing motor, the frame, two drums etc. It is widely used together with various kinds of belt conveyors for auto iron removal from non-magnetic materials in continuous duty occasions with plenty of iron. This machine is suspended above the conveyor belt for attracting ferrous elements from non-magnetic materials and clean the ferrous elements automatically.

How to work:

With its strong magnetic field, ferrous metals are attracted from your non-ferrous conveyed materials, collected on the self cleaning magnetic separator belt.The moving belt carries the collected metal outside of the magnetic field where it is then released beyond the product flow.

The design of magnetic iron separator depends on the feed material, size, feed depth, width and speed of your belt conveyor,etc

This machine is widely used in cement, chemicals, plastics, coal,refractory , building materials, food and other industries.

Difference between permanent magnetic and electromagnetic:

According to the difference of the magnetic field source, the overband magnetic separator can divided into permanent magnetic separator and electromagnetic separator. The permanent overband magnetic separator will be produced by the rare earth-NdFeB magnet,but the overband electromagnetic separator produce the magnetic field by the electric current pass through wire coil.
