Ceramisite uses:  

Ceramite is also called ceramic sand, is a kind of ceramic particle product with high fracturing intensity, belongs to lightweight

aggregate family. Ceramite has excellent properties, such as low density, high cylinder pressure,high porosity, tall softening

coefficient , good frost resistance , etc. So ceramite is widely used in building materials , gardening , refractory insulation

materials, Chemical, oil, and other departments. Ceramite used more widely with the development of technology.

Lightweight Expanded Clay/ Flyash Aggregate Line ( LECA line):

LECA consists of small, lightweight, bloated particles of burnt clay. The thousands of small, air-filled cavities give LECA its strength and thermal insulation properties. The base material is plastic clay which is extensively pretreated and then heated and expanded in a rotary kiln. Finally, the product is burned at about 1100°C to form the finished LECA product.

LECA production line is mainly used in oil field and the finished product, building materials , gardening , refractory insulation materials, Chemical and so on. ceramic sand is adopted as oil pressure support agent.

Shale Ceramsite,LECA production line materials:
Light expanded clay aggregate procuction line : clay is the main material, the Fly ash, or biological garbage and tailings are the

accessory equipment.  the basic flow is :mixing → crushing → agitation  ,add water→granulating → screening → dry →firing →

screening → end ceramsite.

Ceramite production process:
Product ceramsite generally using the production process of raw material homogenization, granulation, baking, cooling. According to the type and characteristics of raw materials, Its granulating process can be divided into the following kinds:

1. Plastic method technology: Suitable for clay and clayey material.
Its process: clay - plasticizing, smoothing of roller and granulating - roasting - cooling - finished products.

2. Mud into the ball process: Suitable for fly ash or other powder raw materials.
Its process: fly ash - mixed smoothing - into balls set granulating - roasting - cooling - finished products.

3. Powder grinding ball process: Suitable for shale, clay shale and gangue materials. 
 Its process: shale, drying, grinding, prewetting - into a ball dish granulating - roasting - cooling - finished product, the

additive agent.

4. Broken (dry) process: Suitable for shale,etc.
Its process: raw materials and broken graded - roasting shale and finished product. And cooling.

5. Fuel: according to local fuel supply, using bituminous coal, crude oil or natural gas.

 
Main Machines used in the production line: 
1.Crushing is to use the jaw crusher ,impact crusher ,fine crusher to crush the big size materials to the suitable size to grind.

2.The moisture content is usually very high,so it is better to dry with the rotary dryer.

3.Mix the powder with the mixer.

4.Use the granulator to make granules or balls.

5.For the balls are wet ,it is better to dry with the rotary dryer.

6.Before calcine ,the unqualified balls are screened out by the rotary drum screen,then return back to the crusher to crush again for granulator.

7.Use the rotary kiln to calcine.

8.The balls’ temperature is too high ,need to cool by cooler., then the whole line is finished.

9. Packing the final products according to the client's needs.

Final products:
01 type:   0.45-0.9mm (20-40mesh) High strength with middle density
02 type:   0.9-1.25mm (16-20mesh) High strength with middle density
03 type:  1.0-1.70mm (12-18mesh) High strength with middle density
04 type:  0.224-0.65mm(40-60mesh) High strength with middle density
