CUT CORE

CUT cores Cut cores are manufactured according to customer specificaitons. These types of cores are used in the production of chokes, combined instrument transformers and specially designed transformers. Cut cores are assembled with a certain air-gap between the pieces, insulation pieces are placed in these gaps during the assembly of the bobbins. Cut surfaces of these cores can be round, oval and rectangular. Electro-magnetic tests of cut-cores are performed before the cores are cut. Special test can be performed if required by customers. Most of the wound cores can be cut at NICORE. Cut surfaces are rectified with great attention to ensure flatness and precision. Different forms of cut cores are available: Split core; Jaw cores; Gapped cores; CT PT cut cores.
