Summary

Pneumo-mechanical flotation machine is a selective process and can be used to achieve specific separations from complex ores such as lead-zinc, copper-zinc, etc. Initially developed to treat the sulphides of copper, lead, and zinc, the field of flotation has now expanded to include the oxidized minerals, non-metallic ores and fine coal.

Flotation separators are subject to coarse separation, swept separation, fine separation and flotation, so the useful ore are reclaimed.

The flotation separator impeller rotates by triangle belt of the motor, with produces centrifugal function and causes negative pressure. On one hand it draws in enough air mixed with ore magma; on the other hand it agitates to mix ore magma with chemical medicines. At the same time, Gold separator minifies bubbles so that minerals can stick above them .float on the surface of magma, and form mineralized bubbles. The height of plate can be adjusted to control fluid level so that the available bubbles can be scrapped out by scrapers.

Working principle

1. when flotation machine works, slurry is inhaled from the bottom of the trough to the space between impellers

2. Meanwhile, the low pressure air send by fan is sent to this area through the air distributor in the hollow shaft

3. After sufficient mixing, the slurry is pushed out by the impeller, and then goes to the whole trough

4. When the froth rises to the stable level, after the enrichment processing, froth overflows to the froth through from the overflow

weir. Another part of ore slurry flows to lower part of impeller for the remis with air

5. The remained slurry flows to the next trough until becomes residue
