German technical background Volcker VOK ®- DF 011 Polymer defoamer without organic silicon for water-based systems (and radiation curing systems). It is especially recommended for two-component polyurethane system with good recoating performance.

Features and Benefits

VOK ®- DF 011 is applicable to defoaming of water-based coatings (and radiation curing system), and the auxiliary agent does not contain organic silicon and mineral oil. Especially, it is recommended to be used in water-based two-component polyurethane system and prevent foam generated during the addition of curing agent. VOK ®- DF 011 is also suitable for varnish and ultrafiltration defoaming.

Recommended dosage

Waterborne two-component polyurethane system: 1-2.5%

Amount of additives (purchase form)

Based on the general recipe.

Other water-based systems: 0.1-1.5% dosage of additives (purchase form) is based on the total formula.

The above data are empirical dosage, and good dosage shall be determined through a series of tests.

Addition method and processing guidance

The defoamer can be easily added without grinding. Can be added to abrasives or paint mixes.
