VOK®- SLIP-AYDVOK FS 444 is a liquid additive that can increase surface smoothness and wear resistance, and is suitable for water-based and high-grade solvent-based coatings.

Main characteristics

A small amount of addition can improve the scratch resistance of smooth surface and dry film;

Improve the "coin scratch" resistance. Coin scratch is used to describe the marks produced by coins or similar metal scraping the coating surface;

Improve the wetting and arrangement of the matting powder, and improve the transparency and feel of the fog coating film;

Compared with general silicone resin or surface modifier, VOK®-SLIP-AYD FS444 shows good compatibility and has little negative impact on recoating.

VOK®- SLIP-AYD FS444 is a polysiloxane surfactant, which is compatible with most waterborne coatings, including waterborne polyurethane, waterborne aminoalkyd, two-component acrylic acid, epoxy resin and nitrocellulose, UV-curable coating and air-dried alkyd paint;

Good acid and alkali resistance to hydrolysis.

usage method

The recommended dosage is 0.04-0.3% of the total formula, which should be added before the process paint mixing stage.
