The joints are clamped by tightening the star handle. 

This triggers a sophisticated hydraulic system inside the tripod that clamps each joint with the utmost rigidity. 

The enormous oil pressure in the tripod guarantees the best measurement results and absolutely smooth 

clamping processes. Due to the best surface qualities of the sealing surfaces and the highest quality workmanship, 

the tripods often achieve a service life of more than one generation when handled properly.

Thanks to a high level of vertical integration, we are able to implement most common machining processes

 in our own production. Sawing, turning, milling, drilling, honing, grinding and assembly are part of the standard 

process of many production orders. For the implementation of coating and heat treatment processes, 

we rely on an established network of competent and reliable partners.

Typical part sizes are diameter ranges from 6 to 350 millimeters or dimensions of 350 x 350 x 350 millimeters, 

which are usually manufactured in batches between 1 and 200 pieces. For the complete machining of medium 

part sizes up to ø 65 millimeters, even complex parts can be manufactured efficiently in medium 

series of up to 5,000 pieces.
