Through the orchestrated movement of steel wire ropes and pulley blocks, the grab effortlessly performs opening and closing actions.

1. Operating Principle

Opening Mechanism: To initiate the opening process, the wire ropes at the pulley blocks attached to the scissor arms are slackened, while the support ropes are simultaneously tightened. This coordinated action gradually separates the two jaw plates, enabling the grab to open wide.

Closing Mechanism: For closure, the wire ropes of the pulley blocks are tightened, harnessing the lever principle to amplify force. This results in the gradual closing of the jaw plates, effectively grasping the material. The closing torque progressively increases throughout the closure process, ensuring a clean and thorough pick-up of materials without spillage.
