Founded in 1988, Dalian Kowa Foods Co., Ltd. is a professional enterprise engaged in seaweed breeding, fishing and deep processing. It has a history of more than 30 years and nearly 20 years of experience in exporting aquatic products.

As the first chairman of Dalian Seaweed Industry Association and the executive vice chairman of Dalian Marine Fisheries Association, KOWA enjoys high reputation and influence in the industry. Rich experience on food processing and a number of international food certifications have made KOWA’s products popular in Europe, America, Japan, Korea and Southeast Asia, covering dozens of countries and regions in the world.As a foreign trade company, KOWA has been under the most stringent inspection by European and American countries as well as Japan and South Korea, and has obtained many international product quality certification such as the Japanese Positive List System, the US FDA, Kosher, BRC, IFS and so forth. KOWA has established long-term and stable cooperation with internationally renowned companies such as SHOKUKEN, RIKEN FOODS, BAOLIN FOODS, SOJITZ CORP from Japan, CISCO, Restaurant Depot from the US, ASIA, KARGERER from Europe, as well as domestic HAIDILAO, AJISEN, SUNING and FRESHHEMA.

In 2017, with the strategic adjustment and the continuous market expansion, in order to better serve domestic and foreign catering and retail enterprises, KOWA invested in the construction of central kitchen industrial park with a total area of 42,000 square meters in the Dalian free trade zone, and launched the "Seafood Central Kitchen".
